French lottery operator Francaise des Jeux (FDJ), whose privatisation was launched by the government this month, is to buy software publisher Bimedia.

FDJ says that its acquisition of Bimedia, which specialises in software dealing with payment solutions, would be based on an enterprise value of less than €50m (US$55.1m).

FDJ’s stock market flotation is one of the largest in Europe this year.
