Law firms Wragge & Co and Lawrence Graham are discussing a potential merger.
Quentin Poole, senior partner at Wragge, says that the UK-headquartered firm has been looking at ways to better serve its clients, especially in London. Andrew Witts, senior partner at Lawrence Graham, says that the company was attracted to Wragge’s strong client base and described the two firms as “extremely complementary”, Legal Week reported.
The merger deal has yet to be put to the vote.
The merged group would have a turnover of more than £172.3m (US$277m) and would employ 189 partners.
