NYSE, Deutsche Boerse CEOs to meet shareholders

The heads of NYSE Euronext and Deutsche Boerse are set to meet key NYSE shareholders this week to promote the benefits of their merger deal and specify its expected cost savings.

The NYSE’s Duncan Niederauer and his counterpart at the German exchange, Reto Francioni, want to give investors “a more formulaic view” of their plan relative to a competing offer for the parent by Nasdaq OMX and IntercontinentalExchange.
